Platform Operations Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Postilion Administrator to join our team at Nimber in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Postilion Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of our Postilion payment system, ensuring its smooth and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and maintain the system to ensure optimal performance and availability

- Configure and troubleshoot including switches

- Perform routine system maintenance tasks such as software upgrades and patch installations

- Collaborate with other teams to implement new features and functionalitys 

- Monitor system logs and analyze system performance to identify and resolve any issues

- Develop and maintain system documentation and procedures

- Provide technical support and assistance to internal teams and external clients

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience 

- Experience with scripting languages and database management (Java)

- Experience in configurations, risk management, deployments

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Fluency in English and Portuguese (both written and verbal)
