Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

As a Data Engineer at Nimber, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure and systems. You will work closely with our data scientists and software engineers to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and scalability of our data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and systems to support data collection, processing, and analysis

- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to understand data requirements and ensure data solutions meet business needs

- Develop and implement data quality and validation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of data

- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems to identify and resolve any issues in a timely manner

- Optimize data infrastructure and systems for performance and scalability

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data engineering and recommend improvements to current processes and systems

- Document data processes and systems for knowledge sharing and future reference

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role

- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases

- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes

- Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala

- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI)

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Fluent in Portuguese, both written and spoken
