Big Data Engineer (SQL Transact)
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- Performs research, design, implementation and support tasks as a member of Capgemini team. Works in accordance with project guidelines, quality standards and code conventions.
- Investigate, create, and implement the solutions for existing technical challenges, including building/enhancing the frameworks and tools used by other development teams.
- We are seeking an experienced BI Developer Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in development with advanced skills in SSMS, T-SQL, and Stored Procedures, along with a strong focus on Data Quality.
- Previous leadership experience is a strong plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead team, ensuring high-quality delivery of solutions.
- Design, develop, and optimize processes using SSMS and T-SQL.
- Create and manage Stored Procedures to optimize queries and data integration.
- Monitor and improve data quality, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement strategic solutions.
- Be available to work extended hours (3 to 4 days per month) as required by project needs.
- Participate in on-site onboarding during the first week on client, then transition to a remote work setup.
REQUERIMENTS
Proven experience in complex environments (Financial area).
Leadership experience is a strong plus.
Expertise in SSMS, T-SQL, and Stored Procedures.
Strong knowledge of Data Quality and data optimization practices.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Must have:
- University degree in Computer Related Sciences or similar
- 5+ years of solid experience
- Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Result oriented approach
- Good English (oral & written) and communication skills in general (C1+)
Working model: Full remote (first week on client for integration)
