Job Title: Automation Test (Katalon)

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon

Job Overview:

We are looking for an Automation Test Analyst with experience in Katalon to join our software quality team. The professional will be responsible for planning, developing, executing, and maintaining automated tests to ensure the quality and performance of our systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement automated test scripts using Katalon Studio.

- Plan and document automated test scenarios and test cases.

- Identify and report defects found during testing.

- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) pipelines.

- Continuously maintain and optimize test scripts to reflect software requirement changes.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Generate detailed reports on test results and quality metrics.

- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices in software testing.

Technical Requirements:

- Proven experience with Katalon in automation testing projects.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Groovy or Java for script customization in Katalon.

- Experience with frameworks and strategies for automated testing (UI and APIs).

- Familiarity with test management tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar.

- Knowledge of integrations with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and executing web service tests.

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for automation issues.

Nice to Have:

- Certification in Katalon or other automation tools.

- Experience with mobile device testing.

- Knowledge of other automation tools, such as Selenium or Appium.

- Experience with Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban).
