Java Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our team at Nimber in Lisbon, Portugal. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications and systems. Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java technologies

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards

- Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues and provide timely resolutions

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the development process

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Java development and suggest improvements to the existing systems

- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects

- Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development

- Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, and other related technologies

- Experience with web development frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
