Position: Junior Oracle Database Administrator (Hybrid in Bucharest, Romania)

What Youll Be Doing (in the most epic way possible):

• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle databases
• Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and perform tuning to optimize system resources
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning and execution
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration between databases and applications
• Assist in implementing database security best practices, including user roles, privileges, and auditing
• Participate in routine database maintenance tasks such as upgrades, patching, and indexing

What You Bring to the Table:

• Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) certification
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts, SQL, and PL/SQL
• Knowledge of Oracle RAC, Grid, ASM, RMAN and Dataguard
• Knowledge of database backup and recovery procedures
• Basic experience with database monitoring tools and performance tuning
• Basic knowledge of Linux OS
• Basic knowledge of Networking, Storage and Security fundamentals
• Knowledge of other relational SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MariaDB would be a plus
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Fluent in English is mandatory
