Job Title: Android Developer with Kotlin
Location: Lisbon - Hybrid
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Android Developer with a strong background in Kotlin to join our team in Lisbon. As an Android Developer at Nimber, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Android application, ensuring its performance, quality, and responsiveness. You will work closely with our product and design teams to create user-friendly and innovative features that will enhance the user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure best practices
- Work closely with the product and design teams to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in Android development using Kotlin
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of the Android ecosystem, including design principles, best practices, and material design guidelines
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
