Position: PL-SQL Developer

Location: Lisbon

Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced PL-SQL Developer to join our team at Nimber. As a PL-SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining database systems to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain PL-SQL scripts, packages, procedures, and functions
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and manipulation
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with database performance, data integrity, and data security
  
• Collaborate with database administrators to ensure database systems are properly maintained and optimized
  
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality
  
• Stay updated with the latest PL-SQL and database technologies and make recommendations for improvements to existing systems
  
• Document code and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing
  
• Adhere to coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality and maintainable code
  
• Support and maintain existing database systems and troubleshoot production issues as needed
  
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a PL-SQL Developer or similar role
  
• Strong understanding of PL-SQL and Oracle database concepts
  
• Experience with SQL tuning and performance optimization
  
• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions
  
• Experience with database design and data modeling
  
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
