Position: IBM API Connect Developer

Nimber is seeking an experienced IBM API Connect Developer to join our growing team. As an IBM API Connect Developer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining APIs using IBM API Connect. You will work closely with our development team to design, build, and deploy APIs that integrate with our internal systems and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement APIs using IBM API Connect
• Work closely with the development team to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of APIs
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance, security, and scalability
  
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in API development and security
  
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of API development processes and standards
  
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality
  
• Document APIs and maintain technical documentation for future reference
  
• Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in API development using IBM API Connect
  
• Strong understanding of API design principles and best practices
  
• Experience with API security and authentication methods such as OAuth and API keys
  
• Knowledge of API management tools and platforms
  
• Proficient in Node.js, JavaScript, and other programming languages
  
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
