Job Title: PL/SQL Developer/Modeler

Location: Lisbon, Braga or Coimbra and the working model will be on-site/hybrid. Candidates must be living in Portugal.

About the Role: We are looking for a talented PL/SQL Developer/Modeler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing PL/SQL code and database models to support business applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy PL/SQL code to support application functionality.
• Design and implement database models to meet business requirements.
• Optimize and tune PL/SQL code for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with application developers to integrate database solutions.
• Perform data analysis and create complex queries to support business needs.
• Maintain and update database documentation, including ER diagrams and data dictionaries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across multiple systems.

Qualifications:

• + 3 years of experience as a PL/SQL Developer, with strong knowledge of Oracle databases.
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex PL/SQL code.
• Experience with database modeling and design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with Oracle development tools such as SQL Developer and TOAD.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of the telecom industry, particularly mobile networks.
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based database management.
