Position: Mid Project Manager (Hybrid in Porto)

What You'll Be Doing (in the most epic way possible)

• Lead and facilitate recurring project follow-up meetings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage backlog, ensuring well-defined, prioritized, and estimated items (ready for development).
• Manage project resources, including team, budget, and infrastructure, ensuring efficient use of available assets.
• Guide and empower the development team, ensuring adherence to project management methodologies.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments and obstacles that hinder the teams progress, ensuring a smooth workflow and productivity.
• Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders and the development team.
• Ensure transparency and keep stakeholders informed about project status and outcomes.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring milestones and objectives are met within the established timeline and budget.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare reports and documentation for senior management and other stakeholders.
• Take a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.

What You Bring to the Table

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager and/or Scrum Master in IT environments (3+ years).
• Deep knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Kanban, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Resilience and perseverance in solving complex problems.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.
• Experience in managing multiple projects, effectively prioritizing tasks across various teams.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with project management tools.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
• Scrum Master certification (PSM I or CSM) is a plus.
