Position: QA Engineer (Payments)

Location: Oporto or Lisbon - Hybrid

Job Summary: QA Automation Engineer role focused on the Onboard project within the Monétique payments perimeter, ensuring the quality of web-based payment solutions through automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing data oriented applications;
• Gathering, documenting, examining and managing data application requirements in an Agile-Scrum development team;
• Translate application story boards and use cases into functional applications;
• Deliver high quality solutions through innovative design aligned with good testing practices;
• Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented features;
• Support the software development for a range of initiatives;
• Cooperating with the developers in the process of testing the RESTful API and Agular web pages;
• Communicating with external web services.


Requirements:

• Solid understanding of automated testing;
• In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment);
• Good knowledge of Selenium or Cypress practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experience;
• Writing non-blocking code, and resorting to advanced techniques such as multi-threading, when needed;
• Validating user actions on the client side and providing responsive feedback;
• Good knowledge of Rest services (Micro Service);
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
