Job Vacancy: Customer Care Centre Consultant:

Location:  East Rand, Johannesburg

We are seeking an experienced Customer Care Centre Consultant (also known as Customer Liaison Officer, Customer Relations Consultant, Client Services Consultant) a group in the motor industry. This role is ideal for someone with a bubbly, extroverted personality who thrives on delivering exceptional service to customers.


Minimum Requirements

  • 2–3 years' customer service experience in the motor industry at dealership or Hub (essential)
  • Grade 12 or equivalent; tertiary qualification (certificate/diploma/degree) advantageous
  • Business-level Afrikaans (reading, writing, and speaking) – non-negotiable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office + CMS (Dealer management system)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to handle high call volumes
  • Polished, confident, and friendly personality with a proactive attitude

  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and customer engagement skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle high volumes of inbound and outbound customer calls professionally
  • Manage the complete customer care process, including enquiries, bookings, complaints, and aftersales support

  • Provide solutions and alternatives to customers within required timeframes

  • Liaise with specialists where specialized information is needed

  • Cold calling and lead generation

  • Maintain detailed records and escalate issues to relevant managers

  • Provide required management reports

  • Maintain exceptional telephone etiquette and professionalism at all times.
