Our Client a well established engineering organisation is looking for a Driver with strong administrative skills. The person must be well spoken and fluent in english, must have good administrative skills and be highly organised.
Min Requirements(Please DON'T apply if you don't have ALL of the below)
- Grade 12
- 1 years experience in similar position
- Code 08/B Valid drivers license
- Computer and Tablet Literate
- Administrative skills
- Excellent communication and fluent in English
Duties
- General Administrative / Receptionist duties,
- Fleet Administration
- Deliveries to designated destinations for Client deliveries,
- Delivery of products within strict deadlines,
- Analyse delivery address, determine appropriate routes and maintain schedule,
- Work with the support team to provide exceptional Client services and address Client concerns,
- Adhere to company operating policies and procedures,
Skills
- PC literacy and experience with MS Office applications
- The individual in this very position must be extremely organized and have excellent people skills. They must be able to manage their time well, and pay very close attention to details,
- Professional demeanour,
- Sufficient knowledge of traffic laws and directions,
- Physically strong and able to lift, hold and carry heavy items,
- Maintain driving log, prepare vehicle performance forms and complete daily paperwork,
- Keeping their vehicle clean, in perfect shape, maintained and running well is a big responsibility for the person in this position. A lot of the time, a vehicle that is used often may break down or need oil and brake pads changes, tire, and other maintenance, and it is the responsibility of the Company Driver to make sure everything is properly maintained and fixed in a timely manner,
- Perform vehicle inspection such as checking fluid level and tire pressure,
- Notify supervisors about any major repairs and maintenances,
- Follow local driving laws and road regulations,
