A well-established organisation in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Head of Sales to lead, structure, and scale its sales function.
Are you a proven sales leader who has built and scaled high-performing teams from the ground up? This role offers the opportunity to lead an established 8-person sales team and drive an ambitious growth trajectory toward R100M GMV.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role suited to someone who has successfully built and driven high-performing teams, with full accountability for revenue delivery and margin performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and scale a multi-functional sales team

Drive revenue growth against defined commercial targets

Take ownership of sales performance, margins, and overall commercial outcomes

Implement and optimise CRM systems, reporting frameworks, and sales processes

Develop team capability through coaching, performance management, and structure
Requirements
-
Minimum 5 years' experience in a sales leadership role

Proven track record of building and scaling teams (0–10+ employees)

Strong experience with P&L ownership and margin management

Exposure to R50M+ revenue or R200M+ GMV environments

Hands-on experience in CRM implementation and sales process design

Relevant degree required (MBA or similar advantageous)
Remuneration Structure
-
Base Salary: R40,000 – R50,000 per month
-
Performance Incentive: Up to 100% of monthly base (on-target achievement)

Total Cost to Company: R960,000 – R1,200,000 per annum (dependent on performance)
