Our client is a prestigious multi-generational Geneva high jewellery maison specialising in rare gemstone one-of-a-kind collector pieces, with a flagship boutique at a prime Central Hong Kong landmark serving ultra-high-net-worth regional collectors. This role reports directly to the Asia Regional Retail Director, holding full P&L ownership of the store covering commercial performance, VIP client development, team leadership, inventory security and global brand standard execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Hit and exceed monthly/annual sales, ATV and VIP acquisition KPIs; analyse sales data, host private trunk shows and bespoke jewellery consultations to grow HNWI referral networks, manage store budgets and gross margins, and submit regular performance reports and forecasts to regional management

- Own full sales team lifecycle including recruitment, rostering, coaching and performance reviews; deliver regular training covering brand heritage, gemology, craftsmanship and discreet ultra-luxury client service standards

- Personally manage all high-net-worth client enquiries and bespoke design commissions; maintain detailed CRM client profiles, conduct consistent post-purchase follow-ups, resolve all after-sales issues with absolute confidentiality and build lead partnerships with private banks, galleries and auction houses

- Oversee full secure custody of high-value gemstone stock via daily and weekly stock checks; enforce vault, loss prevention and cash handling security protocols, maintain brand-aligned in-store visual merchandising, manage daily store operations and ensure full Hong Kong retail regulatory compliance

- Act as local brand representative for mall and luxury industry partners; align all local events and activations with global brand guidelines and share client feedback and local market insights with overseas headquarters


Requirements

- Minimum 7 years luxury retail management experience, with at least 5 years high jewellery boutique management and proven multi-million HKD annual sales delivery track record

- Fluent professional spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin

- Solid gemology knowledge and hands-on experience managing bespoke custom jewellery commissions

- Exceptional discretion and emotional intelligence to serve ultra-private HNWI clients

- Strong financial acumen, proficient in CRM, POS systems and Microsoft Office

- Demonstrated team leadership and coaching capabilities to drive consistent premium service

- Full unrestricted Hong Kong work rights with no visa sponsorship required

- Preferred: GIA/FGA gemology certification, existing local HNWI collector network, past experience with European family-owned luxury maisons, experience hosting exclusive trunk shows and private collector events
