Overview

The role will play a key role in delivering valuable business insights and seamless guest experiences by developing AI algorithms and integrating them with various Integrated Resort systems. The ideal candidate will combine strong business insight with a desire for innovation, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for simplifying complex processes. This self-starter should be creative, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Success in this role requires a broad technical background in Machine Learning, Large Language Models, and Computer Vision, along with a commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and guest satisfaction through cross-departmental collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI Development: Direct the creation and implementation of advanced machine learning models and AI solutions to enhance guest experience, operational efficiency, and business decision-making.
• Conduct Research: Engage in innovative research in AI domains such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision (CV), and Large Language Models (LLM) to leverage the latest industry trends.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with diverse teams, including Hotel Operations, IT, Food and Beverage, Casino, Cyber Security, Meetings and Conventions, and Legal, to identify AI integration opportunities aligned with business strategies.
• Experiment Design: Design and execute experiments and prototypes to validate AI models, ensuring their effectiveness and scalability in real-world applications.
• Develop Scalable Systems: Create and maintain automated AI systems that enhance data processing, model development, and deployment, following best practices in software engineering and AI ethics.
• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to extract insights that support model development and inform business strategies, and present these findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Foster Innovation: Stay updated on the latest AI research and technologies to drive continuous improvement in AI applications within the organization.
• Mentorship: Serve as a subject matter expert in AI, mentoring junior team members and promoting AI-driven problem-solving across departments.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in developing and applying machine learning models to complex datasets, with a record of solving intricate business challenges.
• Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on AI and Machine Learning. A Masters Degree or equivalent certifications is preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Skilled in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or C++, with practical experience using AI tools and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenCV.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Capable of defining complex problems and models from informal business requirements, adept at navigating ambiguity while balancing competing objectives.
• Continuous Learning: A strong desire to learn and apply new technologies and methodologies to address business challenges.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Proven experience working with business leaders across various departments, understanding their needs, and delivering AI solutions that meet objectives.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, skilled at presenting complex data and AI concepts to diverse audiences.
• Project Management: Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects with ambiguous requirements, demonstrating leadership from conception to execution.
• Adaptability: Comfortable in a dynamic environment, with a commitment to enhancing guest experiences through strategic AI applications.
