Our Client is a global integrated resort. As the business is expanding, we are hiring Senior Director - Analytics and Business Planning to head up the team in Macau.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage staff within the Planning & Analysis department.
- Develop, implement, and oversee operational goals while monitoring performance and profit objectives.
- Conduct short- and long-term financial analysis for the property, focusing on labor and financial data reporting.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the Manager of Business Planning and Analysis role.
- Create efficient schedules that control labor costs, meet staffing objectives, and adhere to deadlines.
- Assist in the departmental budget process by offering recommendations and ensuring compliance with budget initiatives; report any budget concerns to the manager.
- Calculate the profitability of marketing programs, analyze results, and identify opportunities for improving marketing expenditure efficiency, communicating findings to the Executive team.
- Oversee the preparation of the annual budget.
- Compare actual operating results to budget and previous years, summarizing key findings for Executive Management and making recommendations to enhance EBITDA.
- Develop presentations for budget meetings and operational reviews.
- Present and discuss analyses with high-level executives from Corporate and property management.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute key operating metrics to assess the achievement of the companys operational, service, and financial objectives.
- Monitor labor costs and identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
- Perform database queries to extract data for analysis.
- Prepare ad-hoc analyses as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with Gaming Control Board requirements, the companys internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley standards.
- Actively support and promote superior customer service consistent with departmental and company standards, ensuring all team members adhere to service standards and addressing issues promptly.
- Ensure regulatory compliance within the area of authority and report potential issues to Executive Management/GM.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all departmental and company matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited institution; MBA preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years of casino experience is strongly preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting and financial analysis, with financial modeling experience being essential.
- Proficiency in report writing software.
- High energy and a proactive, strategic approach to problem-solving.
- Strong organizational and presentation skills, with the ability to present formally to executives.
- Capability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Cognos, SQL, CRM, CDS, ACES, and other relevant systems for data processing, analysis, and presentation.
- Strong collaborative skills and effective communication with team members at all organizational levels.
