This role will concentrate on developing innovations that improve guest satisfaction and enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

  • Become an Expert: Gain a thorough understanding of our global operations and processes.
  • Implement Lean Six Sigma: Use Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify and execute process improvement opportunities internationally.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and statistical analysis to prioritize initiatives and assess the effectiveness of process innovations.
  • Adopt Advanced Technologies: Integrate new tools and technologies to improve operational processes.
  • Optimize Workflows: Conduct time-and-motion studies to refine workflows.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop, monitor, and report on key operational performance metrics.
  • Cultivate Innovation: Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and innovation throughout the organization.
  • Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel up to 25%, including international trips, to collaborate with teams and partners.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 7 years in process engineering, with a proven record of strategic and analytical problem-solving in various contexts.
  • Lean Six Sigma Expertise: Strong foundation in Lean Six Sigma or other quality enhancement methodologies.
  • Data Management Skills: Proficiency in database management, data visualization, and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Minitab, R, MySQL).
  • Kaizen Experience: Experience leading or participating in Kaizen initiatives.
  • Workflow Mapping: Familiarity with operational workflow mapping.
  • Task Management: Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in high-pressure environments.
  • Curiosity and Problem-Solving: A strong desire to understand systems, perform root-cause analyses, and resolve complex issues.
  • Self-Starter: Independent and motivated, able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Innovation Measurement: Proven ability to measure impacts using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) or statistical analysis.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree: Masters or PhD in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering.
  • Extensive Experience: Over 10 years in process engineering, with at least 5 years in hotel operations.
  • Data Visualization Expertise: Experience with data visualization and analytical applications (e.g., Tableau, Minitab, R, MySQL).
