Equity Research Analyst, Industrials / Robotics & Embodied Physical AI

Responsibilities

• Cover HK/US/TW listed industrials, robotics and embodied physical AI names, focusing on industrial robots, humanoid robots, automation equipment, reducers, servo & industrial control hardware supply chain. Not LLM / large model software or pure algorithm research.
• Conduct fundamental research, channel checks & management meetings; build financial models, valuation, publish company notes & thematic deep-dive reports.
• Present investment thesis via roadshows & client calls to institutional investors, drive vote & client engagement.
• Monitor global industry trends, technology updates and supply chain dynamics.
• Ad-hoc research projects assigned by team lead.

Requirements

• Around 2 years sell-side equity research experience, industrials / machinery / capital goods coverage preferred
• Preferred background: Global investment banks, tier 1 securities brokerage, with overseas stock coverage track record
• Solid knowledge in robotics hardware, industrial automation, smart manufacturing and embodied AI supply chain
• Proficient in English research writing & client communication, fluent Mandarin. SFC licence is a plus, not mandatory
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and primary research capability with published research track record
