VP, Equity Capital Markets (ECM)

Location: Hong Kong (exceptional candidate may be based in Shenzhen with HK payroll)

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle ECM deal origination and execution, including Hong Kong IPOs, follow-on offerings, private placements and block trades.
• Conduct financial modelling, valuation, deal structuring and pitchbook preparation for ECM transactions.
• Build and maintain relationships with issuers, institutional investors and key market stakeholders across cross-border capital markets.
• Coordinate internal teams to drive deal delivery, mentor junior team members and support the firm's global capital market expansion strategy.
• Ensure all deal activities comply with HKEX listing rules and relevant SFC regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of ECM / corporate finance experience at an SFC licensed securities firm, with proven track record leading HK ECM transactions.
• Hold SFC Type 1 licence; RO capability is a strong plus. Deep knowledge of HKEX listing rules, FINI system and SFC regulations.
• Established network with pre-IPO and listed company management teams, as well as institutional investors in HK and Greater China.
• Must hold a valid Hong Kong visa (no new visa sponsorship available; visa renewal support can be provided).
• Fluent in English and Mandarin. Comfortable working in a fast-growing fintech environment with strong commercial BD mindset.
• Solid financial modelling, valuation and deal structuring skills. CFA qualification preferred.
