Financial AI Sales Development Manager

AI-first fintech building vertical financial AI tools: proprietary financial datasets, LLM research agents, factor/quant strategy systems for asset managers, hedge funds, family offices, private banks & quant desks. We are scaling our institutional footprint in HK and SG, hiring a ground-up sales lead to build local client pipelines & industry partnerships.

Core Responsibilities

1. Full-cycle institutional sales across HK/SG buyside & wealth institutions: lead gen, pitching, PoC coordination, negotiation & contract closure for our AI research/data products
2. Build fintech ecosystem partnerships with banks, data vendors, consultancies, industry bodies & universities to expand market reach
3. Drive local go-to-market: client mapping, industry events, flagship pilot projects, feed market feedback to product teams for regional localization
4. Navigate HK/SG regulatory basics for financial data, AI vendor onboarding & cross-border data compliance
5. Build repeatable sales playbooks & local reference client cases

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Econ, CS, Data Science or related disciplines
• 4+ years institutional sales / BD experience in fintech, financial data, AI SaaS, quant research or wealth tech
• Established HK/SG financial network (asset management, hedge fund, private banking clients highly preferred)
• Proven end-to-end B2B sales track record including PoC, procurement & compliance workflows
• Basic grasp of financial research workflows, LLMs, quantitative data tools
• Fluent English & Mandarin; conversational Cantonese a bonus
• Self-starter, comfortable fast-paced early-stage startup environment
