We're looking for a detail-oriented Auditor to support compliance, cost control, and operational efficiency within our manufacturing operations. This role ensures financial integrity, adherence to regulations, and continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with federal milk marketing orders and other food production regulations.

  • Provide documentation and insights for internal and external audits.

  • Perform audits of inventory, production, and waste management systems to ensure accuracy and accountability.

  • Monitor compliance with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with plant managers to identify cost-saving initiatives, reduce waste, and optimize resource use.

  • Support inventory management through cycle counts, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

  • Contribute to SOX compliance by ensuring transparent and auditable cost accounting systems.

  • Maintain segregation of duties and implement IT controls across production, procurement, and finance systems.

  • Prepare thorough audit documentation and maintain financial workflow controls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Experience in cost accounting, auditing, or financial analysis preferably in manufacturing or food production.

  • Familiarity with dairy operations and federal milk order compliance is a plus.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel; experience with data visualization tools preferred.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of waste management practices and environmental compliance standards.

  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
