About the job General Ledger Supervisor (Payroll)
Were looking for a highly skilled GL Supervisor (Payroll) to lead and oversee accounting operations, payroll processes, and compliance. This role will play a critical part in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting audits, and driving efficiency in payroll and store-related accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily accounting operations including general ledger, payroll, and store transactions.

Review and validate payroll and store-level financial data for accuracy.

Prepare and present financial and operational reports to management.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and statutory requirements.

Develop and implement accounting controls and procedures for payroll and store accounting.

Mentor and guide accounting staff to strengthen accuracy and efficiency.

Collaborate with HR and Operations to streamline payroll and accounting processes.

Support both internal and external audits.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payroll and store accounts.
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years accounting experience (with at least 2 years in a supervisory role preferred).

Strong background in US GAAP, payroll administration, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Open to full RTO setup and night shift schedule.
