Job Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on and people-focused HR Supervisor to oversee day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, and compliance for a company engaged in garment services, tailoring, or retail operations. The role will supervise core HR functions including recruitment, timekeeping, discipline, and employee engagement, while ensuring alignment with labor regulations and internal standards.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting retail or service-based businesses, strong interpersonal skills, and a solid grasp of local HR practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations including hiring, onboarding, employee records, and timekeeping.
  • Ensure proper implementation of HR policies, procedures, and internal discipline processes.
  • Manage employee relations and support resolution of workplace concerns or violations.
  • Support payroll and attendance reporting by coordinating with operations and accounting teams.
  • Monitor compliance with labor laws, government reporting, and health & safety standards.
  • Assist in manpower planning and sourcing for branch-level or frontline roles.
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives, trainings, and internal communications.
  • Maintain organized employee files and ensure accurate HR documentation and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, or Business Administration.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Background in retail, service, or production-based companies preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor law and DOLE standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with HRIS is an advantage.
  • High attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with both frontline and leadership staff.
