Responsibilities:
- Learn how Deal Advisory operates within an independent public accounting firm.
- Contribute to pre-engagement documentation, planning, and updates.
- Assist with transactions by completing assigned tasks, maintaining accurate working papers, and tracking engagement progress.
- Conduct relevant analyses based on transactions, industry, and client needs, ensuring data accuracy.
- Use research tools to gather and interpret data on targets and clients to support marketing and proposals.
- Apply technical knowledge to analyze engagement documents, communicate findings clearly to the team, and use appropriate formats.
- Build an understanding of transaction parties and explain deal mechanics.
- Understand transaction rationale and valuation basis to provide valuable advice tailored to client needs.
- Analyze results and report implications for the deal and client, including potential solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in Deal Advisory services, including reporting, valuation, and business planning.
- Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
