Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support business decision-making through accurate reporting, trend analysis, and data visualization. This role involves gathering data from multiple systems, validating information, and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders in finance, operations, risk, or shared services environments.

The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, a passion for working with data, and the ability to transform complex datasets into digestible reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple internal systems.
  • Build reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support operations, financial planning, or risk management.
  • Partner with business units to understand reporting needs and deliver timely, relevant insights.
  • Translate raw data into business-friendly visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
  • Validate data accuracy and integrity; identify discrepancies and assist in resolution.
  • Support data-driven decision-making by preparing trend analyses and forecasting models.
  • Maintain documentation for reports, data sources, and processes.
  • Assist in automation of recurring reports and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a data analysis or reporting role, ideally in financial services, insurance, or enterprise operations.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of data structures, business KPIs, and reporting frameworks.
  • Experience with Python, R, or data modeling tools is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to present insights to non-technical audiences.
