Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Export Logistics Specialist to manage the end-to-end coordination of international shipments for food products. This role is responsible for preparing export documentation, coordinating with freight forwarders, ensuring regulatory compliance, and facilitating smooth delivery of goods to global clients and distributors.

The ideal candidate has a solid background in export operations, familiarity with food-grade shipping requirements, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and partners across international markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the timely export of goods from production facilities to international clients and distributors.
  • Prepare and review all necessary shipping documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and bill of lading.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, food safety requirements, and destination country import policies.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time dispatch and delivery.
  • Track shipments and provide regular updates on delivery timelines, delays, and exceptions.
  • Maintain accurate export records and support audits or documentation reviews as needed.
  • Coordinate with production, warehouse, and finance teams for accurate order fulfillment and invoicing.
  • Stay updated on changes in export regulations, tariffs, and documentation standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in export logistics, preferably in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, international shipping practices, and trade compliance requirements.
  • Experience handling perishable or temperature-sensitive goods is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills; ability to work with multiple stakeholders and service providers.
  • Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
