Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Site Architect to oversee architectural planning, execution, and compliance during the construction or renovation of industrial, commercial, or mixed-use sites. This role ensures that architectural designs are implemented accurately on-site, in line with project specifications, safety standards, and operational needs.
The ideal candidate has experience managing architectural works in manufacturing, commercial, or export facility projects, and works collaboratively with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate on-site implementation of architectural plans and specifications.
- Ensure construction quality and adherence to design intent, building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure alignment with approved drawings.
- Coordinate with civil, MEP, structural, and interior teams to resolve design conflicts or adjustments.
- Review shop drawings, material submissions, and change orders for architectural compliance.
- Maintain detailed records of project milestones, site reports, and issue logs.
- Support contractors and workers by providing clear interpretation of plans and specifications.
- Assist in project turnover documentation, punch lists, and final inspections.
- Collaborate with the in-house project team on space planning, functional layouts, and site improvement proposals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Architecture; licensed Architect preferred.
- At least 4-6 years of experience in on-site architectural supervision, ideally in industrial, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, construction materials, safety, and finishing details.
- Skilled in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or BIM software; familiarity with MS Project or similar tools is an advantage.
- Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Willing to work onsite and travel to different project locations as needed.
