Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Deal Advisory Director to lead complex transaction engagements and support clients through the lifecycle of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic deals. This role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, advising senior executives, and delivering insights that shape deal strategy and execution.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in financial due diligence, transaction structuring, and deal negotiations within a professional services or investment advisory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, business valuations, and transaction structuring engagements.
- Advise clients on investment decisions, deal readiness, and post-deal value creation strategies.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial models, quality of earnings analyses, and transaction-related reports.
- Manage relationships with senior-level clients, legal advisors, bankers, and counterparties.
- Provide leadership across deal teams, ensuring timely delivery, accuracy, and commercial relevance of deliverables.
- Identify business development opportunities and participate in pitches, proposals, and market outreach initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal specialists (e.g., tax, legal, strategy, restructuring) to provide integrated deal solutions.
- Monitor market trends and maintain a strong understanding of industry dynamics and transaction drivers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; CPA or CFA qualification preferred.
- At least 12-15 years of relevant experience in deal advisory, investment banking, financial due diligence, or M&A consulting.
- Proven track record of managing and closing complex transactions across various sectors.
- Strong technical skills in financial analysis, valuation, and deal structuring.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and developing talent.
- Familiarity with cross-border transactions and regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
