Job Summary:

We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Finance Controller to oversee all financial operations, reporting, and compliance for a business with e-commerce and manufacturing components. This leadership role ensures accuracy and transparency in financial reporting, supports budgeting and forecasting efforts, and provides financial insights to help guide decision-making across departments.

The ideal candidate has a solid background in controllership, FP&A, and compliance, preferably within a fast-paced, multi-entity environment such as print manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead month-end and year-end financial closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial statements.
  • Manage general ledger, account reconciliations, and all core accounting processes.
  • Oversee internal controls, accounting policies, and audit readiness in accordance with applicable standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).
  • Provide financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, cost management, and operational efficiencies.
  • Manage forecasting and budgeting processes, partnering with business units and leadership teams.
  • Supervise accounting and finance staff to ensure accurate processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and inventory.
  • Work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as required.
  • Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities to streamline financial workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, including tax filings and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including 3+ years in a controllership or leadership role.
  • Background in BPO, shared services, or e-commerce industries is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle), and financial reporting tools.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver results in a deadline-driven environment.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
