Job Summary:

We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Director to lead growth strategy and client acquisition efforts, focusing on expanding professional services offerings across audit, tax, advisory, and consulting. This role plays a key part in identifying strategic opportunities, strengthening market presence, and driving revenue through trusted client relationships.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in B2B relationship-building, preferably within professional services, consulting, or high-value solutions industries. This role is well-suited for candidates with a deep understanding of the local market and experience engaging with senior business leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business development strategy across key industry verticals in the Visayas region, with a focus on professional services.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, strategic accounts, and cross-service offerings.
  • Build strong relationships with executives and decision-makers across corporate, SME, and government sectors.
  • Collaborate with service line leaders to craft customized, client-specific solutions and proposals.
  • Lead and manage the entire business development cyclefrom lead generation to negotiation and closing.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking forums in the region.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor positioning, and client needs to inform strategic decisions.
  • Report on pipeline activity, forecasted revenue, and performance metrics regularly.
  • Mentor junior team members or business development staff where applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive business development or client relationship experience in a B2B or professional services environment.
  • Proven ability to engage with C-level stakeholders and close complex, high-value deals.
  • Strong understanding of the Cebu and Visayas business landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to opportunity development.
  • Proficient in CRM tools and pipeline reporting.
