Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and solution-oriented Business Systems Analyst to support the analysis, documentation, and implementation of technology solutions aligned with business goals. This role serves as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, improve processes, and ensure successful delivery of system enhancements in a shared services or financial operations environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of business analysis, enterprise systems, and cross-functional coordination in fast-paced, process-driven organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with business users to elicit, analyze, and document system and process requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process maps.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and project teams to ensure clear understanding and implementation of requirements.
  • Support system configuration, testing, and deployment activities across enterprise platforms.
  • Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities through gap analysis and data review.
  • Maintain system documentation, training materials, and user support resources.
  • Participate in change management, UAT planning, and rollout communications.
  • Act as a key liaison between business units and IT to ensure solutions meet user expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst or systems analyst, ideally in shared services, insurance, or financial environments.
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, workflow automation, or case management tools.
  • Familiarity with requirements documentation, process modeling, and testing methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with Agile or hybrid development methodologies is preferred.
