Director of Finance APAC

What You'll Do:

• Become a strategic member of the APAC Leadership team.
• Help build the future of Emmas finance for APAC by owning and driving strategic finance initiatives - vision, projects, team structure.
• Oversee a variety of cross-functional initiatives and projects, working closely with team members across departments to ensure their successful execution.
• Review, improve, and disrupt internal processes, operational set-up, and connected strategies for increased efficiency, productivity, and excellence on a global scale.
• Ownership of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements - ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Leveraging automation, digitization, and other cutting-edge technologies.
• Lead projects and manage improvement resources, focusing on performance reporting to drive operational efficiencies and enhance financial insights.
• Mentor and drive the professional development.

Who We're Looking For:

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial services, such as investment banking, consulting, and audit; or experience in strategic finance roles, such as controlling, comptrollership, and business finance.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling you to effectively convey complex financial information to diverse stakeholders.
• A proactive, self-reliant, and hands-on work mentality, demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset within the finance field through in-depth knowledge.
• A strategic and creative thinker, capable of managing stakeholders and prioritizing competing priorities effectively.
• Ability to adapt swiftly and prioritize key objectives in a rapidly changing environment.
• Solution-oriented with a curious intellectual mindset, always seeking innovative approaches and eager to learn.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering fast results, scoping projects effectively, and continuously striving for improvement.
