Job Overview:
A growing food manufacturing company is looking for a Plant Engineer HVAC to manage the performance and reliability of refrigeration systems in a cold storage setup. This role is vital in maintaining temperature standards across production and warehousing for temperature-sensitive goods such as ice cream and frozen desserts.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC and refrigeration systems (walk-in and blast freezers).

Ensure all cooling systems maintain required temperature levels for ice cream production and storage.

Lead preventive and corrective maintenance efforts to avoid product loss or downtime.

Monitor and calibrate sensors and temperature control systems.

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and in-house maintenance teams.

Maintain strict compliance with GMP, food safety, and sanitation standards.

Optimize energy usage and recommend cost-effective improvements.

Keep accurate records of maintenance logs and system reports.

Support audit readiness and cold chain compliance documentation.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or related Engineering fields.

PRC license is a plus, but not mandatory.

3-5 years of experience in industrial HVAC or cold storage systems (ice cream/frozen food industry preferred).

In-depth knowledge of air circulation, freezing mechanics, and refrigeration safety.

Familiarity with ammonia/freon-based systems, blast freezers, and pressure relief setups.

Skilled in HVAC monitoring tools and diagnostics.

Willing to work in Sta. Rosa, Laguna on a flexible schedule.
