Position: Sales and BD Manager + Accounts Manager
Job Type: 0.5 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Sales and Business Development + 0.5 FTE Account Management (Full-Time Regular)
Profile: Mid-Manager Level, 5+ years of experience, Individual Contributor
Preferred Experience: Background in banking, payments, and e-commerce technology
High-Level Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development (0.5 FTE): Oversee all sales and business development activities in the Philippines, including:
- Prospecting and generating leads
- Managing customer relationships
- Developing sales strategies and planning
- Conducting sales presentations and negotiations
- Handling sales administration and reporting
- Providing customer support and after-sales service
- Account Management (0.5 FTE): Manage all account activities in the Philippines, including:
- Maintaining client relationships
- Strategic account planning
- Driving revenue growth from current customers
- Acting as the escalation point for client issues
- Managing client administration and reporting
Basic Functions:
- Non-negotiable:
- Generate leads, negotiate, and close sales effectively
- Achieve sales targets for the company's products and services
- Provide regular, detailed reports on sales progress, renewals, and new business
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Engage with local regulatory bodies and fintech stakeholders, representing the company at industry events
- Exhibit excellent communication skills and manage stakeholder relationships effectively
- Proficient in Google Workspace and MS 365

- Monitor industry trends and competitors
- Support marketing efforts in developing and implementing new strategies
- Demonstrate strong relationship-building skills and the ability to identify new business opportunities
- Enhance processes and pricing structures
- Experienced with CRM tools like HubSpot/Salesforce, Google Workspace, and MS 365
Competencies Needed:
- Non-negotiable:
- Solid understanding of the banking and payments landscape in the Philippines
- Strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable in a high-growth and diverse environment
- Experience in business development within financial services or financial technology
- Exposure to banking, payments, and e-commerce technology preferred
- Negotiable:
- Previous experience in enterprise sales, particularly with large deals (TCV > $500K USD)
- Ability to expand within the financial sector (both private and public)
- Established network within the banking, fintech, and payments industry (regional and local)
Reporting To: Country Manager / Sales Director
Qualifications:
- Education: College degree in a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a relevant field
- Skills: Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot/Salesforce), Google Workspace, and MS 365
Work Set-Up: Primarily onsite, with flexibility for fieldwork as needed
