Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and timely filing of corporate tax returns, VAT, withholding taxes, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy in tax computations and compliance with applicable laws and standards.
  • Review and approve tax returns, schedules, and supporting documentation prepared by the team.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the organization.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities while maintaining compliance.
  • Provide guidance on tax planning initiatives to optimize financial outcomes
  • Manage relationships with tax authorities, including addressing inquiries, audits, and disputes.
  • Prepare documentation and support for tax audits, assessments, and reconciliations. 
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and risk mitigation measures in all tax-related activities.
  • Supervise and mentor tax team members, ensuring high-quality output and professional growth.
  • Conduct training sessions to improve team knowledge of tax laws and compliance procedures.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure deadlines are met.
