Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation and timely filing of corporate tax returns, VAT, withholding taxes, and other regulatory requirements.Ensure accuracy in tax computations and compliance with applicable laws and standards.Review and approve tax returns, schedules, and supporting documentation prepared by the team.Stay updated on changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the organization.Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities while maintaining compliance.Provide guidance on tax planning initiatives to optimize financial outcomesManage relationships with tax authorities, including addressing inquiries, audits, and disputes.Prepare documentation and support for tax audits, assessments, and reconciliations. Ensure adherence to internal controls and risk mitigation measures in all tax-related activities.Supervise and mentor tax team members, ensuring high-quality output and professional growth.Conduct training sessions to improve team knowledge of tax laws and compliance procedures.Delegate tasks effectively and ensure deadlines are met.
