Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Technical Sales Specialist to support the promotion and sale of specialized products and engineered solutions for clients in food manufacturing, refrigeration, and cold storage operations. This role is responsible for understanding customer needs, recommending appropriate solutions, and providing technical support throughout the sales process.
The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, effective communication skills, and experience working with clients in industrial or process-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand operational requirements and recommend suitable equipment or system-based solutions.
- Promote technical products related to industrial refrigeration, food processing, cold chain equipment, and related components.
- Prepare product presentations, quotations, and technical documentation in coordination with product and engineering teams.
- Support pre-sales and post-sales activities including client briefings, product demos, and technical troubleshooting.
- Maintain and expand a portfolio of clients in the manufacturing, food service, and logistics sectors.
- Monitor industry trends, product performance, and competitor offerings to inform sales strategies.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as operations, engineering, and supply chain to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Track sales performance, pipeline status, and customer feedback to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in technical sales, product consultation, or solutions sellingpreferably in industrial equipment, refrigeration systems, or food manufacturing environments.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Comfortable with fieldwork, client visits, and occasional technical site assessments.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM tools or basic project documentation platforms.
- Customer-focused, target-driven, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
