As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in our HR department by supporting various HR functions and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes in compliance with Philippine labor laws and company policies. You will work closely with employees and management to foster a positive work environment, handle HR-related inquiries, and contribute to HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Documentation:
    • Assist to ensure comprehensive compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Efficiently manage documentation, maintaining accurate records, and reducing the risk of non-compliance issues.
  • Policy Development and Implementation:
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs to support the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Benefits Administration:
    • Act as the primary backup for administering employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
    • Serve as a point of contact for benefits-related inquiries.
  • Record Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Performance Management:
    • Support the performance management process, including helping managers with goal setting, conducting performance evaluations, and facilitating performance improvement plans.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related issues.
    • Assist with employee relations matters, including investigating and resolving complaints and conflicts fairly and promptly.
  • Training and Development:
    • Assist in the development and delivery of training programs and initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • New Hire Orientation and/or Onboarding
  • Legal Compliance:
    • Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and recommending necessary updates to HR policies and procedures.
  • Projects and Reporting:
    • Support HR projects and initiatives, including those related to employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and talent development programs.
    • Prepare HR-related reports and analyze HR data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist in a Philippine context.
  • Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
