Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and process-driven Continuous Improvement Engineer to support end-to-end operational efficiency across manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, cold chain, and retail distribution functions. The role is responsible for identifying bottlenecks, eliminating waste, and implementing scalable solutions that improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery across the organization.
The ideal candidate brings strong industrial engineering principles, practical knowledge of food production and logistics workflows, and experience executing Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies in a dynamic operations environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and map current processes across production, inventory, warehousing, order fulfillment, logistics, and retail support functions.
- Identify inefficiencies, pain points, and improvement opportunities through data collection, observation, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead continuous improvement projects with measurable KPIstargeting cost savings, throughput, resource optimization, and quality enhancement.
- Develop and implement SOPs, time and motion studies, line balancing strategies, and capacity planning models.
- Work with production, QA, logistics, and store operations teams to standardize procedures and enhance cross-functional efficiency.
- Monitor performance metrics and lead regular reviews to assess improvement results and compliance with updated processes.
- Facilitate workshops, trainings, and operational audits to drive a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
- Support digital transformation or automation initiatives by assessing workflows and proposing technology-driven enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field; Lean Six Sigma certification (Yellow/Green Belt) is an advantage.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in process improvement, industrial engineering, or operations excellence, preferably in food manufacturing, cold storage, or FMCG distribution.
- Strong skills in process mapping, root cause analysis, data interpretation, and problem solving.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and process analysis tools; experience with ERP/WMS systems is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in time and motion studies, layout planning, and productivity analysis.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with operations, production, warehouse, and retail teams.
- Organized, proactive, and results-oriented, with a continuous improvement mindset.
