Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst to support digital transformation and product development initiatives within a banking and financial services environment. This role bridges business needs and technical solutions by gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement data-driven and user-centric improvements.
The ideal candidate has experience working in banking, fintech, or digital platforms, with a strong understanding of business process modeling, system requirements documentation, and agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business units, product owners, and IT teams to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements for new systems or enhancements.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
- Support the development of use cases, process flows, wireframes, and other documentation to guide design and development teams.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and feedback sessions with stakeholders to elicit clear requirements and align expectations.
- Work closely with QA and development teams to ensure solution quality, traceability, and business alignment.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing test cases and validating deliverables against requirements.
- Monitor and analyze implemented solutions to assess business value and identify further improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in banking, fintech, or digital transformation projects.
- Solid understanding of system development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile delivery models.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with product, technology, and compliance stakeholders.
- Knowledge of banking processes, digital customer journeys, or financial product structures is a strong advantage.
