Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Business Analyst to support digital transformation and product development initiatives within a banking and financial services environment. This role bridges business needs and technical solutions by gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement data-driven and user-centric improvements.

The ideal candidate has experience working in banking, fintech, or digital platforms, with a strong understanding of business process modeling, system requirements documentation, and agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business units, product owners, and IT teams to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements for new systems or enhancements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
  • Support the development of use cases, process flows, wireframes, and other documentation to guide design and development teams.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and feedback sessions with stakeholders to elicit clear requirements and align expectations.
  • Work closely with QA and development teams to ensure solution quality, traceability, and business alignment.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing test cases and validating deliverables against requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze implemented solutions to assess business value and identify further improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in banking, fintech, or digital transformation projects.
  • Solid understanding of system development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile delivery models.
  • Proficiency in business analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with product, technology, and compliance stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of banking processes, digital customer journeys, or financial product structures is a strong advantage.
