Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks that ensure the reliability, scalability, and quality of enterprise systems. The role will focus on developing robust automated test cases for applications supporting finance, operations, and risk-related services in a shared services or global enterprise environment.
The ideal candidate is experienced in automation tools and scripting languages, with a strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and enterprise testing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend systems.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and scalable development cycles.
- Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product owners to define test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Conduct test planning, execution, and documentation of test results and defect reports.
- Maintain regression test suites and ensure ongoing test coverage as systems evolve.
- Monitor and improve test execution performance and reliability.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness reviews.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in QA automation or software testing, ideally within financial services, insurance, or enterprise systems.
- Proficient in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or TestNG.
- Strong scripting or programming skills (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with REST API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and test management platforms (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
