Credit Investigator

Job Overview

A growing tech-enabled B2B platform serving sari-sari stores and other micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is looking for a Credit Investigator to support its field credit operations.

The Credit Investigator will be responsible for conducting field verification, customer and business validation, KYC document collection, neighborhood checks, and payment collection within assigned areas. The role requires frequent fieldwork and travel across different municipalities and barangays based on operational requirements.

The ideal candidate has previous experience in field credit investigation, field collections, customer verification, or a similar field-based role and is comfortable working independently across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field verification of customers' residential addresses and business locations within assigned areas.
• Validate customer and business information through physical visits and field investigation.
• Conduct neighborhood and barangay-level verification as part of the customer assessment process.
• Obtain and verify required Know Your Customer (KYC) documents.
• Verify businesses and customers referred by partner organizations when assigned.
• Conduct field investigations and document relevant findings accurately.
• Perform payment collection from customers when required.
• Travel to different municipalities and barangays within the assigned province or city depending on operational needs.
• Meet established field visit, verification, collection, and credit operations KPIs.
• Submit accurate and timely reports and documentation from completed field activities.
• Perform other related field and credit operations duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in field credit investigation and/or field collections is required.
• Experience in customer verification, KYC, lending, financing, microfinance, collections, or similar field operations is an advantage.
• Comfortable conducting extensive fieldwork and interacting with customers, business owners, neighbors, and local communities.
• Willing to travel and be assigned to different municipalities and barangays within the designated province or city.
• Must have an own motorcycle suitable for regular fieldwork.
• Must possess a valid and updated driver's license.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately verify and document customer information.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple field assignments.
