About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support the credit evaluation process by assessing customer creditworthiness, reviewing financial information, and helping manage credit risk. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure sound credit decisions while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers through the review of financial statements, credit reports, bank references, and payment histories.
  • Prepare credit assessment reports and recommend appropriate credit limits for approval.
  • Monitor customer credit exposure and ensure compliance with approved credit terms and limits.
  • Review and process credit applications, trade references, and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with Sales and other departments to obtain information required for credit evaluations.
  • Address customer inquiries related to credit applications, account status, and credit requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and organized credit records, approvals, and correspondence.
  • Assist in the preparation of credit risk reports, aging schedules, and performance metrics.
  • Identify potential credit risks and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to credit policies, procedures, and workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with company guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in credit analysis, accounts receivable, finance, or a related role.
  • Fresh graduates with strong academic credentials are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic understanding of credit risk assessment and financial statement analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate level).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Training or exposure in credit analysis, financial statement analysis, or ERP systems is an advantage.
