The Dairy Finance and Accounting Head is responsible for leading the finance and accounting functions of the business, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective financial planning, and strong financial controls.

This role oversees budgeting, forecasting, accounting operations, cost management, compliance, and financial performance analysis to support business objectives. The position serves as a key business partner by providing financial insights that drive operational efficiency, profitability, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall finance and accounting operations, including general accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Partner with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts and recommend corrective actions.
  • Oversee cost management initiatives, including product costing, inventory valuation, production cost analysis, and cost optimization.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of accounting records and financial data.
  • Develop, implement, and improve accounting policies, financial procedures, and internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, LGU, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Lead external and internal audit activities and coordinate with auditors.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial resources to support business operations.
  • Safeguard company assets through effective financial controls and risk management.
  • Collaborate with corporate finance on consolidated reporting, budgets, and group reporting requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team to achieve high performance.
  • Develop and monitor financial and operational KPIs.
  • Support business expansion, capital investments, and strategic initiatives through financial evaluation and analysis.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Licensure

  • CPA is preferred but not required.

Experience

  • At least 8–10 years of experience in finance and accounting.
  • Experience in both Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and accounting operations.
  • Experience in manufacturing, dairy, food manufacturing, or FMCG is an advantage.
  • At least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Preferred Training

  • Advanced training in Financial Planning, Financial Modeling, Strategic Finance, or Business Management.
  • Continuous professional development in taxation, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance.

Working Conditions

  • Primarily office-based with occasional travel to manufacturing plants, warehouses, or business sites.
  • May require extended working hours during month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, and audit periods.
  • Work Setup: Office (Monday–Thursday), Work From Home (Friday), Full-time
