About the job Assistant Vice President - Sourcing (Procurement)
Engaging all partners, the incumbent will lead strategic initiatives for the Philippine Hub. The role will require to drive procurement initiatives with focus on driving productivity, cost reduction and avoidance and consolidation of partners while, meeting project deadlines. You will also lead the Philippines procurement team to ensure compliance to NO PO NO PAY policy and adherence to the procurement procedures and supplier management program for all engagements.
- Bachelors/Master’s degree in relevant discipline.
- Minimum 10+ years of overall work experience in financial services (i.e. Supplier Risk Management, Facilities, Operations, Sourcing)
- Good oral/written communication skills
- Excellent supplier negotiation skills
- Experience in data analysis and problem-solving capabilities utilizing process expertise.

Partner with process owners to procure product/service for the business while ensuring all transactions are in line with compliance to the operating procedure.
Expertise on Philippines market more specifically with the local markets in terms of supplier/products/services and local compliance requirement for suppliers.
Lead projects and drive RFP/RFQ as per the business requirements and ensuring project deadlines are met while ensuring accurate documentations, supplier negotiations with regular engagement with the business stake holders on the project status and closure.
Align to drive the global category strategy and collaborate with global sourcing commodity leaders.
Adherence to the supplier management program for all supplier engagement and ensuring all supplier assessments are completed and closed before onboarding suppliers
Leverage professional expertise with Legal and business owners to review and modify contractual terms & conditions with experience in contract negotiations.
Facilitate and support audits both internal and external as required
Engage with govt agencies on matters related to Customs for the site
Regular rhythm on meeting suppliers and keeping a track of the market condition in terms of competition, new product launch and consolidation of supplier base to help improve volume of scale and productivity.
Leading the team of Philippines procurement leaders across services/products and providing guidance and support to the team members
Monitoring timely processing of supplies invoices to ensure no delays in supplier payments with special focus on MSME suppliers.
Ensure all transactions adheres to the NO PO NO PAY policy.
