Oracle Apps DBA Consultant

Position: Oracle DBA Consultant

Nexttec Technology is a leading outsourcing company that provides innovative and reliable technology solutions to businesses of all sizes. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle DBA Consultant to join our client project.

As an Oracle DBA Consultant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our clients' Oracle databases, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and provide them with expert advice and support in database design, implementation, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement and maintain Oracle databases for our clients

- Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and scalability

- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely and efficient manner

- Develop and implement database backup and recovery strategies

- Perform database upgrades and patching as needed

- Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and provide technical solutions

- Provide on-call support for critical database issues

- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Oracle database administration

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of databases with other systems and applications

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle EBS

- Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, installation, configuration, and maintenance

- Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and GoldenGate

- Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL scripting

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Oracle certifications are a plus
