Job Description

We are looking for a BI Developer to design, develop, and support business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IBM Cognos, Tableau, and relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and IBM DB2. The role involves developing reports, dashboards, data models, and supporting enterprise BI initiatives.

Skills:

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and scorecards using IBM Cognos and Tableau.
• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects on SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2.
• Design and support data models and data warehouse structures.
• Collaborate with business users to gather and analyze reporting requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy, report performance, and system reliability.
• Troubleshoot BI application and reporting issues.
• Support production deployments and ongoing enhancements.
• Document BI solutions and follow development best practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum 2-4 years of experience

- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies

- Experienced in working with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and IBM DB2, with strong proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and PL/SQL, including developing and optimizing Stored Procedures and complex queries.

- Skilled in BI and Analytics tools, including IBM Cognos Analytics, IBM Cognos Framework Manager, Tableau (Desktop & Server), and Power BI, with experience in developing dashboards, KPI reports, and data visualizations.

- Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts, including ETL processes, Dimensional Modeling, and Star Schema design, with an understanding of data integration and reporting requirements.

- Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experienced in working within collaborative, cross-functional environments.
