Associate Expert Scrum Master Project Based

Position: Associate Expert Scrum Master 6 months Project

Nexttec Technology Outsourcing is a leading IT outsourcing company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Expert Scrum Master to join our dynamic team.

As an Associate Expert Scrum Master, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our software development projects. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective delivery of high-quality products to our clients. Your main responsibility will be to facilitate the agile development process and ensure that all team members are following Scrum principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion the adoption of Agile/Scrum principles and practices across teams and the wider organization to drive customer-centric outcomes.
• Coach teams in maximizing the benefits of self-organization and cross-functional collaboration to enhance delivery and accountability.
• Proactively guide teams in addressing gaps within Agile/Scrum frameworks through adaptive and value-driven solutions.
• Assess team and organizational Scrum maturity levels and coach toward higher performance and agility in a sustainable and empowering manner.
• Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress, or guide teams in effectively resolving them by engaging the appropriate stakeholders.
• Facilitate efficient and autonomous delivery of work, ensuring an environment free from micromanagement or top-down task assignment.
• Lead critical team discussions, foster collaborative decision-making, and support constructive conflict resolution.
• Enhance internal and external communication flows, promote transparency, and ensure key Agile metrics and updates are visible and understood by stakeholders.
• Partner closely with Product Owners to support backlog refinement, prioritization, and continuous alignment with business goals and customer needs.

• Proactively contributes to team and organizational success by driving outcomes aligned with Agile principles and business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with solution architects and development teams to ensure high-quality delivery and alignment with technical and timeline expectations.
• Provide unwavering support to the team through a servant leadership approach — leading by example, removing obstacles, and fostering continuous improvement
• Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.

• Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
• Document lessons learned as part of the closure of each project.
• Ensure compliance with policies & standards.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• At least 6 years of experience in software development or testing
• At least 6 years of which playing scrum master role
• Experience in playing the Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
• Knowledge of other Agile approaches is a plus: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
• Applicable knowledge of UiPath or BluePrism is a plus.
• Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
• Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown technologies, various Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.).
