Position: OIC Consultant

Nexttec Technology Outsourcing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced OIC Consultant to join our client dynamic team. As an OIC Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) projects. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work remotely or in our office.

About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer to design, build, and support integrations across our Oracle Cloud application landscape. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience delivering integrations across multiple Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (Finance, HCM, Procurement, PPM (Project Costing)), MS-Dynamics CRM, Yardi as well as third-party/on-prem systems and can work independently on medium-to-complex integration projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), covering App Driven, Scheduled, and Orchestration patterns
  • Build and maintain integrations across multiple Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (Finance, HCM, Procurement, PPM (Project Costing)), MS-Dynamics CRM, Yardi, as well as third-party/on-prem systems.
  • Develop and maintain REST/SOAP web services, and configure adapters (REST, SOAP, SFTP, Database, ERP, HCM, File, JMS, etc.)
  • Implement data mapping, transformations, lookups, and value maps between disparate systems
  • Design robust error handling, fault management, and retry/recovery mechanisms for integrations
  • Build and support Process Automation workflows (OIC Processes/BPMN) including human tasks and approval flows, where applicable
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in development, test, and production environments
  • Optimize integration performance, including batch/bulk data processing where required
  • Collaborate with functional/business teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical designs
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation (interface specs, mapping documents, design docs)
  • Participate in code reviews, testing cycles, and deployment activities following Agile/Scrum practices
  • Ensure integrations follow security best practices (OAuth2, Basic Auth, SAML) and organizational governance standards

Required Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of overall IT experience, with 3+ years of hands-on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) development experience
  • Proven experience building integrations spanning multiple Oracle Cloud modules (e.g., ERP, HCM, SCM) or equivalent enterprise systems & 3rd Party Applications.
  • Strong knowledge for migration from Oracle SOA to OIC.
  • Strong knowledge of integration patterns: point-to-point, orchestrated, pub/sub messaging
  • Hands-on experience with OIC adapters: REST, SOAP, FTP/SFTP, Database, ERP Cloud, HCM Cloud, File, JMS
  • Solid understanding of REST/SOAP web services, JSON/XML, WSDL/XSD
  • Experience with SQL/PL-SQL for database-related integration work
  • Working knowledge of authentication/security protocols (OAuth2, Basic Auth, SAML)
  • Experience with error handling, monitoring, and troubleshooting integration flows in production
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle SOA Suite / Fusion Middleware (especially if migrating legacy integrations to OIC)
  • Exposure to Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) for extending integrations into UI/mobile apps
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) fundamentals and API Gateway
  • Experience integrating with additional platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, SAP, Yardi, MS-Dynamics CRM, Mobile Apps
  • Oracle Integration Cloud certification (Optional)
  • Prior consulting or client-facing project experience
  • Domain knowledge in Finance, HR, or Supply Chain processes, MS-Dynamics CRM

  • Effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments
